Dual Boot Kali Linux With Windows.
Materials Required to dual boot :
Pendrive: 8 GB
At lest Dual-Core with 2GB of RAM.
Win32 Disk Imager
20 GB free disk space ( Minimum )
USB/CD-DVD boot support
If you don’t know how to create a bootable usb, then check: How to Make a bootable USB and Disk Partition. Restart and boot into Boot Menu Disable Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS but enable UEFI or EFI Mode. Select the UEFI option in Boot option (see picture below) that pops up when you press F2/escape/F10. and Select USB-HDD.
You’ve to choose these informations manually:
- Setup up Network by entering the password.
- Partition Disk
The installation procedure from this point onwards is similar to a Kali Linux Hard Disk install, until the point of the partitioning, where you need to select “Guided – use the free space you’ve created”. After successfub boot of kali linux, follow me:
1: Select Graphical Install.
2: Select English as a preferred language.
3: Select United states as Location.
4: Select American English.
5: Leave the name as Kali.
6: Enter the password “toor” ( By Default ).
7: Be careful, I recommend you to try this in manual mode. But now i’m using Guided-use entire disk.
8: Keep all files in one partition.
9: Choose “Finish Partitioning and Write Changes to Disk.”
10: “Yes” to format the disk you’ve selected.
11: Click “No”.
12: Select “Yes”, and grub bootloader’ll be installed.
13: Finally, select /dev/sda… and press Enter.
Then the machine will restart. Again boot to upto the usb selection option as before. Then select Kali.
